I admittedly don’t follow baseball much. I find it boring without betting on it. Even when betting on it, it’s easy to get burned.
When I heard the Oakland A’s got rid of up and coming hitter Yoenis Cespedes to the Boston Red Sox for pitcher Jon lester I thought it was a risky move. I even thought the Red Sox got the better deal.
Lester is a clutch pitcher, but down the road the A’s will be kicking themselves in the foot if they don’t win a World Series this year. The Red Sox have a history of burning teams in trades.
